Post MSW Type 73 Plan of Study
To take the certification test, three academic courses plus a field practicum and seminar that spans the academic school year are required.
These include:
- SED 411 Survey of Special Education
- SWK 461 School Policy
- SWK 463 Social Work Practice in Schools
- The field practicum would be full time and follow the school calendar. The field seminar is taken concurrently with the field practicum and meets once a week to provide integration of the advanced coursework with the field practicum.
