BSW Degree Requirements
Students graduating with a major in Social Work must complete certain University requirements as well as social work departmental requirements. Currently, we do not offer a social work minor.
University Requirements
University graduation requirements are published in the Undergraduate Catalog.
School of Social Work Requirements
In addition to meeting the University's degree requirements for the baccalaureate degree, students must be formally admitted to the social work major and:
- Successfully complete 69 semester hours of required courses as outlined in the BSW Plan of Study.
- Successfully complete 600 hours of field practicum.
