Opportunities for student organizing include the Social Work Club, Phi Alpha Honor Society and numerous events throughout the year sponsored by the School of Social Work and these student organizations. Students are encouraged to become involved through frequent announcements via the listserv and informal contact.
Departmental Honors in Social Work requires 12 hours of honors credits in Social Work. Any major course may be upgraded to an honors course. Please visit the Honors Program Web site to learn how to join the Honors Program and opportunities for honors students.
The Social Work Club is open to all students, regardless of major. To receive informational e-mails for Social Work Club and the Social Work Major, contact the Director of BSW Student Services.
